Kelly Gonzalez RN, BSN
Biography
Kelly is a bachelor’s prepared registered nurse with four years of critical care experience. Prior to obtaining her bachelor's degree she completed her Associate Degree in Applied Science for Surgical Technology. Upon graduating with her associate degree, Kelly immediately began working at Memorial Hermann Hospital Operating Room Neurological service line in the Texas Medical Center, after 4 years and training of new oncoming staff, Kelly decided to return to school for nursing. Kelly completed a fast-track BSN program at Chamberlain University and upon graduating in 2019, Kelly immediately started working at Memorial Hermann Hospital Neuro Trauma Intensive Care unit in the Texas Medical Center caring for patients with neurological problems such as strokes, brain traumatic injuries, and spinal injuries. Kelly is trained to care for patients with external ventricular devices (EVD), lumbar drains, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), post-angiogram and post-surgical patients. Kelly also had a hand in training new nurses welcomed onto the unit. Kelly became interested in legal nurse consultation and is now working as a RN Paralegal at Myers Doyle.
