Biography
Greg is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, an honor earned by only a small percentage of licensed Texas attorneys. Prior to receiving his law degree from the University of Texas at Austin, Greg attended dental school at the University of Texas Dental School in Houston, Texas and worked as a licensed Texas dentist. Since receiving his law degree, Greg has dedicated his professional life to the defense of healthcare providers in all areas of medicine and dentistry. Greg’s unique background, training and experience provide a distinct advantage in the defense of medical and dental claims. His background and knowledge of physiology, pharmacology, pathology and other related issues allow Greg to quickly and efficiently learn and develop case issues so as to provide a more thorough, knowledgeable defense. Greg has handled hundreds of alleged malpractice cases dealing with a broad range of medical/dental issues, including medical and dental wrongful death cases, birth injury cases, surgical errors, failure to diagnose/misdiagnosis, and neurologic injuries.
Greg has represented virtually all specialties and subspecialties in the medical and dental fields. He has handled and successfully defended alleged malpractice cases through trial in multiple venues throughout the state. He has also successfully defended healthcare providers before the Texas Medical Board, the State Board of Dental Examiners and the Texas Nursing Board. Greg has also tried cases against professional boards before the State Office of Administrative Hearings (SOAH).
As a result of Greg’s extensive experience and special expertise, he has spoken and/or lectured to diverse groups in regards to the defense of alleged malpractice cases and board complaints. He has addressed and made presentations to physicians, dentists, nurses, hospital staff, malpractice insurance companies and other lawyers in regards to the intricacies and details of malpractice litigation and board issues.
